Establish New Service
Water/Sewer/Trash
To establish service the City of Hewitt requires the following:
Water service can be established online at 2turniton.com
or at the Utility Services Department located
in the Community Services Facility, 103 N. Hewitt Drive.
Note: The city requires someone to be at the service address when activating service.
New Business / Commercial Water Service
Business owners wanting service for their business must obtain a Certificate of Occupancy from the Building Department at 254-666-6173 before obtaining city services.
To establish service the City of Hewitt requires the following:
- A driver's license or state issued ID Number
- A Social Security Number
- A security deposit plus a $30 non-refundable activation fee will be due prior to the connection of services. (Security deposits range from $80 to $180, based on risk assessment. Payment for security deposit and activation fee must be received before any connection of services will be performed.
- Application for water service must be submitted before 11 am for services to be connected the same day. Services are connected between 1 pm and 4 pm on the date requested.
