Code Enforcement

code enforcement
On behalf of the City of Hewitt Code Enforcement Division, we would like to welcome you to the Code Enforcement Division webpage.

The Code Enforcement Division is housed within the Hewitt Police Department

Preserving Social & Economic Health

This Code Enforcement was established to preserve and improve the physical, social and economic health of Hewitt's neighborhoods. Our neighborhoods are the environment in which we live and raise our families. Nuisances can devalue, detract and degrade the quality of any neighborhood. Recognizing the importance of protecting the home environment, the city has adopted codes that govern the use and maintenance of property. Property code violations, if left unresolved, can deplete the value of your real estate assets.

Help Keep Hewitt Beautiful

We ask your help in keeping Hewitt a beautiful and enjoyable place to live and work. The information offered on these pages are offered in effort to enhance the understanding and cooperation between the Code Enforcement Division and the residents, businesses and visitors of Hewitt.

Maintaining the Quality of Our Community

It is our job to help maintain the quality of our community. We do this through a fair and unbiased enforcement program which corrects violations of Hewitt's City Code that has been voted on and adopted by City of Hewitt Council.

We provide sensitive, courteous, and outstanding public service. We are committed to proudly serving our community in a safe, professional, and effective manner.
