Our team is comprised of 15 Firefighters, 3 Engineers, 3 Lieutenants, 3 Captains, and 1 Fire Chief. The Hewitt Fire Department Is Growing!

The Hewitt Fire Department is actively expanding its capabilities to better meet the growing needs of our community. As part of this effort, we are preparing to add additional personnel to support future operations.

Construction of Fire Station 2 is currently underway, with a projected opening in Spring/Summer 2026. This new station will enhance our response times, improve coverage across the city, and strengthen our ability to protect lives and property.
